Back to Osaka-Jo!

We took a stroll last Friday with friends Ben and Lelia at Osaka Castle. There were a few trees in bloom but still many more to come! We are heading to Kyoto tomorrow since I think the blooms are mostly open there... we are going to head back to the monkey park that we visited 2 years ago in beautiful Arashiyama, so many more pics to come!

how cute...

There's a cat in the bag!
This was hilarious! every once in a while the cat would let out a helpless meow!

Tako-yaki heads!

Jeff is loosing weight here and that's not good for me! He's starting to make me look fat!

Sumo Sumo Sumo!

Last Friday we watched 10 hours of Sumo wrestling! The day started out at 8:30 am with some less experienced guys. The day progressed and around 3pm the big leagues started. The matches were pretty short with the object being to get your opponent to either hit the ground first, or to step out of the ring first. There are some great moves in the video!

Enjoy!

Well our backs are still killing us from the damn bed but the morning
racket is getting easier to ignore... We should finally be getting
Internet in a couple weeks so we can do some cheap Internet phoning!

Never in the US

Straight drop to the pond below... In the US there would be a fence or
some barrier... But there is way more personal trust in japan!

Had to post again... Too funny

It's cool to dye your hair purple...

When you're over 70 years old! Seriously this is a mild purple
compared to others we've seen! Haha
